LGOIMA Request Details

I refer to your request under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) dated 21 January 2025 for information regarding 194 Rangitikei Valley Road, in which you requested:

(a) The terms of the current lease; 

(b) The date the lease was signed; and 

(c) The date the lease is due for termination.

We have considered your request, and this is granted in part. The licence document for 194 Rangitikei Valley Road is attached to this email. We note certain information is redacted as this is being withheld pursuant to Section 7(2)(b)(ii) (release of this information would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the licensee) and Section 7(2)(a) (to protect the privacy of natural persons) and Section 7(2)(i) (Enabling any local authority holding the information to carry on, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations)).

The lease was signed and returned by email to the tenant on 17 January 2024.
