Waste Management & Minimisation Plan 2022–2028

The Waste Management and Minimisation Plan 2022-2028 sets out Council's strategic priorities for managing and minimising waste in the Manawatū District.

Also contained within the plan is a package of initiatives that Council will implement over time to support the vision for waste management and minimisation.

The Waste Assessment 2022 can also be found below. The process to prepare a waste assessment builds a foundation of understanding that allows Council to prepare its Waste Management and Minimisation Plan, and to consider new or improved initiatives for the Solid Waste Activity.
