Vote for your favourite artistic entry

To ensure all Chorus Cabinet Art entries are recognised, the entries are on display and the public are encouraged to vote for their favourite.

With over 20 entries for the Chorus Cabinet Art Project, the designs showcase a diverse range of talent, from emerging to established artists, each offering unique interpretations.

This year, Chorus has allocated four boxes for the Manawatū District, and while the final winners have yet to be announced, Mayor Helen Worboys wanted all entries to be publicly appreciated.

To ensure all artists are recognized, the entries are being showcased on display screens at both entrances of Te Āhuru Mōwai, projected in a captivating grid format. Visitors are invited to vote for their favourite designs by placing one of the provided stickers on their choice.

“The entries highlight the incredible talent within our District,” Mayor Helen said. “It’s wonderful that each artist can have their work on display, regardless of whether it’s chosen for a Chorus box.”

The designs are available for viewing in person, during staffed hours at the Manawatū Community Hub Libraries on Stafford Street or you can see the collection through the image below.
