Litter / Fly Tipping

The illegal dumping of litter is unsightly, a health hazard and a risk to the environment. The cost of the removal of illegally dumped rubbish is an additional cost to all rate payers.

Most of the rubbish found illegally dumped consists of items that can be disposed of for free such as bottles, cans and papers.

All residents and commercial operators wanting to dispose of refuse in Feilding must go to the Feilding Refuse Transfer Station in Kawakawa Road. For more information see Rubbish and Recycling.

If you see anyone illegally dumping rubbish, please note down the date, time and details (i.e. location, vehicle registration etc) and contact Council so that we can investigate and arrange for the rubbish to be removed during business hours. Your details will be kept confidential.
